Are you concerned about the implications of returning or not returning to the office post lockdown? This event will focus on the challenges faced by employers and employees as the workplace adjusts to be a post-pandemic landscape.
This online webinar will be sponsored and supported by David McCrum Ltd. David McCrum is an employment lawyer and sole practitioner, based at his home in Baltonsborough. David has specialised entirely in employment for the last 20 years and before that he worked as an in-house lawyer for the General Motors group of companies in the UK. David also has a significant amount of experience advising employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including representing major manufacturing clients in numerous employment tribunal hearings. He has also acted for many employees, particularly advising them with regards to Settlement Agreements.
David will present to the group and address the issues or potential issues faced by both employers and employees when returning to the workplace as things adjust post lockdown as we (hopefully) head out of the pandemic. In particular David will cover 'No jab, no job' - touching on the difficulties that may arise in working relationships both between employer and employee, flexible working arrangements, the management of Covid risk in the workplace and the legal implications of employees coming back to the office or working from home and absence/self-isolation the consequential effect on pay. All of these are hot topics that both employers and employees are very conscious of at the moment with lockdowns easing, and looking ahead to June when we are looking to be back to a 'new normal' depending on data and government guidance.
