Whether you are new to networking, new in business, or just want an opportunity to meet new contacts - the Somerset Chamber ladies events are an ideal way to raise the profile of your business. Regularly attracting ladies from all areas of the county and throughout lockdown online, these events provide the perfect platform to raise your profile in a friendly and professional environment.
Joined by our event sponsors Church House Investment Management, Andrea Steel will give delegates a brief introduction of the company. Church House is a fund and portfolio manager offering specialist services to individuals, financial professionals and institutions for over 20 years. They manage a range of six funds for use by advisers and wealth managers and as the building blocks of their discretionary managed client portfolios. With assets under management in excess of £1 billion, they have enjoyed significant growth without losing the key strengths of an independent and private company. Church House propositions are regularly reviewed and refined to ensure continued suitability for their professional and private clients. A private and independent business, they operate offices in Mayfair, London and Sherborne, Dorset and have a team of 31.
Andrea has 20 years' experience under her belt and remains as enthusiastic as when she started. Andrea has the privilege of developing relationships with other professional service providers and believes in the value of collaboration when designing holistic wealth strategies for clients with more complex needs.
We will welcome Rachel Bell as our event speaker. Rachel is an Architect, Director and Head of Business Development at Stride Treglown. Leading the Winning Work team alongside fellow directors, Rachel believes in building a positive client relationship to help overcome those project hurdles as well as a continued pipeline of work. Beyond her day job, Rachel supports numerous initiatives in the industry. She is currently on the SW Regional Board for LandAid and the National Chair with Women in Property 2021/22. As a visible industry role model, Rachel has won many awards and accolades for her contributions including being named one of the 2019 Property Week Resi Trailblazers and SW Insider Property Personality in 2018. 'Stand Tall' is her mantra - something she encourages everyone to do. Hear Rachel's leadership journey, how we can attract, retain and promote women in the construction industry and how we can all join her to Stand Tall.
