Event Description:
Join School in a Bag for our inaugural Race Night in February, to see if you can pick the winning horses and reap the rewards! Study the form of the horses, check the odds and place your bets before the race begins. Watch the race and then collect your winnings from your friendly bookmakers! Fantastic commentary creating a thrilling atmosphere over a selection of different races. The night also includes a delicious meal of Loders Butcher's sausages, mash and gravy (veggie option available when buying tickets), cider tasting with Ham Hill Cider, a licensed bar and raffle - a perfect Friday night! Tickets are just £18 (plus a small booking fee) and tables of eight are available if a group of you want to come, so get your tickets fast before they all go! More info on the races themselves: RACE SPONSORSHIP - sponsor a race for £25. A race Sponsor will be advertised on the Race Card and on the giant projector screen (Get in touch with us: events@schoolinabag.org if you would like to do this!) NAME A HORSE - for £2 per name. The names can be as outrageous as you like and will be printed on the race card. (Get in touch with us: events@schoolinabag.org if you would like to do this!) OWN A HORSE AUCTION - Before each race, we will auction off each horse to the highest bidder. 50% of the total goes to the winning owner. TRI-CAST - Winner paid on first 3 past the post on any chosen race. 336 different combinations at £1 per choice; £100 to the winner. This event is for over 18s only
