Julie has a broad range of experience with VAT for both large and small businesses from a technical and practical viewpoint. She deals with all areas of VAT specialising in charities and not-for-profit organisations\, all issues relating to VAT on land\, property and construction and trade with other countries. Other areas covered include buying and selling businesses and issues affecting the health sector.\n\nJulie joined PKF Francis Clark in 2006 as a VAT consultant\, taking on the role of director of VAT services in 2008\, before becoming a partner in 2011. She is responsible for all areas of VAT within the firm. Before joining PKF Francis Clark\, she was director of VAT services for a medium sized firm of accountants in Oxfordshire and UK VAT manager for Siemens plc. Julie's experience as VAT manager at Siemens plc makes her well-placed to advise clients involved in international trade.\n\nJulie is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Julie is also a member of the VAT Practitioners Group and the ICAEW's VAT and Duties Committee.
