If you've not been to the centre\, you'll have the opportunity to tour the building and see the facilities as well as network with residents of companies involved with local energy projects.\n\nThe Somerset Energy Innovation Centre is a catalyst for collaboration and innovation\, providing dynamic space and expert support to the businesses at the heart of the growing low carbon energy supply chain. Working directly with businesses moving into or already working in the low carbon market and seeking to supply into energy projects. Using their expertise\, they are able to advise and support companies to develop capability\, innovate and form new partnerships.\n\nAll the businesses at the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre share the core value of openness to collaboration and innovation. The aim is to create a sustainable economic legacy through the growth of a South West low carbon energy cluster.\n\n\n\nTours of the offices will be facilitated by Sam Evans Head of Hinkley Supply Chain Engagement and Ben Powis\, Director of the SEIC.\n\n\n\nThis event is in partnership with HOST\, who operate Hinkley Point C accommodation campuses. Host has been awarded the contract to operate the two campuses that are opening to accommodate construction workers working on the EDF Energy's Hinkley Point C Project. \n \n\nThis event is organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the SEIC and HOST\, early booking is recommended.
