SUMMARY:Somerset Young Professionals\, Yeovil
DESCRIPTION:Business Professionals in your 20's and 30's are invited to join us for our next SYP Event.\nDo you want to get more from your Communication to staff and customers? Have you ever felt like your message is not being heard in the way you intended?\n\n \n\nIt's quite normal in business for our communication to get a little lost in translation. Why? Because we are all different and we all have some in-built thinking and behavioural patterns which means sometimes we hear what we want to hear. Sometimes we need the message to be explicitly clear so that we can truly understand.\n\n \n\nThe aim of these events is to encourage professional networking and relaxed socialising for younger business professionals in Somerset. While older members of the business community have already established their network of contacts and regularly attend business functions\, we recognise that there isn't much aimed at younger or more junior professionals at the beginning of their careers.\n\n \n\nJoin us for this session where Guest Speaker\, Rachael Howourth\, will present on the different styles of communication and how we can make some small tweaks to change the outcome of our conversations for the better. She will talk about Customer Complaint Handling\, Managing Conflict and How to Conduct Effective 1:1s\, whether on the phone or face to face.\n\n \n\nRachael Howourth\, founder of Momentum South West Ltd\, has enjoyed 20 years in B2B corporate sales for automotive market leader\, Auto Trader. As Sales Director\, Rachael saw the company migrate revenues from Publishing to Digital and played a strategic role during the period the business went through IPO to become the most successful automotive float on the stock market. Her revenue responsibility was 96 million annually and she's now supporting South West businesses to grow their revenues through consultancy\, coaching and training.\n\n\n\nMomentum South West Ltd work with businesses of all sizes\, helping grow their top line revenues through improved sales and leadership performance.\n\n\n\n\nThis event is kindly sponsored by Yeovil College\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor full event terms and conditions please click here
