Dorset and Somerset Training Provider Network Ltd (DSTPN) consists of members who are training organisations, colleges, employers and stakeholder bodies working in the post-16 education and training sector.

Skill Up Somerset
An impartial apprenticeship and skills advisory service for businesses and individuals in Somerset. We offer free support to help you find the right skills solutions and can introduce you to local training provision. Whether you need to develop your staff’s skills or recruit new talent, Skill Up Somerset can provide the expert assistance and impartial support you need.

Skills Bootcamps
Skills Bootcamps are short modular programs lasting up to 16 weeks, for adults aged 19 or over, specifically designed to address the in-demand skills required by employers in various priority sectors. Whether you want to upskill your current staff or train potential new staff, these programs can be designed with your help to meet your training needs. To make Skills Bootcamps accessible to businesses, generous government co-investment has been made available, meaning that businesses can invest in the development of their workforce and not have to shoulder high training costs.

The ASK Programme (Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge)
A Department for Education funded project offering free support to educational establishments in England. Its goal is to increase awareness of apprenticeships among students, parents, carers, teachers, and career advisers. Through the ASK programme we deliver a range of talks and workshops, helping students to make informed choices about their future careers and raising their awareness of local opportunities.
