8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., but sales from Apple HQ are by appointment until our shop is opened.

Thee is a sign at the cross-roads between the Montague Inn and the adjacent cross-roads.
Producing award-wining apple juices and ciders from our own organic orchards and from orchards and gardens where apples have no user, and all as if organic but not certified.
Apple Cider Vinegar is also produced.
We are based in Shepton Montague, near Bruton/Wincanton/Castle Cary.
Dowding's have been expanding every year since we made our first trial cider in 2013, in our garage. We now have a fully-fledged building in the orchards.....which we have already outgrown.
The list of awards gets longer every year!
We entertain visits from groups, and also potential customers, by appointment.
There is no shop at present although we do aim in Spring 2026 to have some regular days when we will be open for retail sales. We will also be hosting more events in 2026.
