About Us
School in a Bag is a UK-based educational charity, sending SchoolBags filled with stationery and eating utensils to disadvantaged children around the world.
Every SchoolBag, and its contents, are new and costs just £25 to ship to anywhere in the world.
A typical SchoolBag contains: pencils, biros, colouring pencils, a maths set, ruler, pencil case, 6 exercise books, a water bottle, a Lunch Box with Spork and a hygiene kit which includes a flannel, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste.
Each SchoolBag has a unique number meaning that once packed its journey to the recipient can be tracked, providing transparency that your donation goes directly to supporting children in need.
To date over 161,000 SchoolBags have been distributed to children in 60 countries.
We can support your business by running SchoolBag packing events at your premises, engaging staff and suppliers with your social impact work. We can also provide corporate volunteering opportunities for your employees as part of our annual fundraiser, Home Farm festival. A 3 day music festival based at our premises in Chilthorne Domer.
