About Us

Somerset Education Business Partnership (Somerset EBP) connects employers with schools and colleges across Somerset, helping businesses engage with young people through careers education, workplace experiences and industry-led activities.

We support employers to build meaningful relationships with education providers, creating opportunities to inspire young people, raise awareness of career pathways and develop future talent pipelines. Whether through careers talks, workplace visits, mentoring, mock interviews, enterprise activities or work experience, we help businesses engage in ways that deliver value for both employers and young people.

For employers, early engagement with education can strengthen recruitment, improve awareness of career opportunities within the organisation and help address future skills and workforce challenges. Long-term partnerships with schools and colleges enable businesses to influence the future workforce while supporting young people to make informed decisions about their education, training and careers.

Somerset EBP is part of Somerset Council's Careers and Pathways Service, which works with employers, education providers and partners to improve career opportunities and progression across the county.
