About Us

Somerset Skills & Learning (SS&L) makes positive changes to people’s lives, through learning. We work across Somerset, providing adult education, apprenticeships and traineeships. As well as offering skills and qualifications, we also invest heavily in community projects to help disadvantaged groups to improve their lives through learning.

SS&L is one of the highest rated providers in Somerset, with 96% of learners recommending us to friends and family in our recent survey.

Our work-based learning team specialise in training for business & administration, customer service, team leading & management, childcare and teaching assistants. Whilst our qualifications team can support computer & digital skills, as well as maths, English and ESOL

We offer flexible learning with on-line support and delivery across our 5 Somerset based centres in Taunton, Bridgwater, Yeovil, Frome and Shepton Mallet.

SS&L is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company accredited by Matrix and is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
