Techosaurus is a multi-award-winning EdTech consultancy based in Yeovil, Somerset, founded by husband-and-wife team Scott and Ellie Quilter. Put simply, we teach people and work with organisations to help them Use Technology Better.
Technology rules the roost these days. Between AI, automation, intelligent agents, and constantly changing ways of working, there's an extraordinary amount of opportunity out there. But understanding what's possible, where to start, and how to make it work for you can be another matter entirely.
That's where we come in. We help people make sense of technology, discover what they can do with it, and develop the skills and confidence to start doing it for themselves.
Our philosophy is evolution over revolution. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn, experiment, ask questions, make mistakes, and be curious. You don't need a technical background or years of experience to get started. Sometimes all someone needs is a little encouragement, the right explanation, and permission to have a go.
Education sits at the heart of Techosaurus. We deliver AI Skills Bootcamps, Automation Skills Bootcamps, self-paced online courses, bespoke training for businesses across the UK, and one-to-one tuition. Our teaching covers generative AI, Microsoft 365, Copilot, automation, digital productivity, and emerging technologies, always with a practical focus on how people can use these tools in their everyday lives and work.
We also work closely with education providers, including Yeovil College, University Centre Somerset, and City of Bristol College, helping educators develop their own skills, designing and delivering courses, and developing apprenticeships that reflect how technology is being used in the real world.
Our training is designed and delivered by experienced industry professionals who use these technologies themselves. We meet people where they are, avoid unnecessary jargon, and get them learning through practical activities, real examples, and hands-on experimentation. We believe AI is a communication and delegation skill that everyone can learn, and we're passionate about making that opportunity available to as many people as possible.
Alongside education, we work directly with businesses to explore AI adoption, improve processes, introduce automation, and make better use of the technology they already have. With decades of practical industry experience in IT and modern workplace technology, we can help organisations work out what makes sense for them, then support them in putting it into practice.
A big part of our work is tackling something we call digital debt. Technology was supposed to make our lives easier, yet somehow we've ended up spending more time than ever dealing with emails, notifications, repetitive administration, and endless digital tasks. We want to help people get some of that time back, so they can concentrate on the work that matters, the things they enjoy, and, most importantly, the human relationships that make the biggest difference.
And there's something we're particularly proud of in how we work. If we do our job right, you need us less.
We want people to leave us with the knowledge, confidence, and independence to keep learning, questioning, and experimenting. To feel comfortable trying something new, and to recognise opportunities that might previously have passed them by.
We're proud to be part of Somerset's business and education community, working with people and organisations locally and across the UK.
