The Finance Factory is a commercial finance broker based in Clevedon.

We help businesses across Somerset, the wider South West of England and South Wales find the right finance to grow, invest and keep cash flowing.

We love getting out to meet business owners in person, and we're delighted to support Somerset businesses as a member of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce.

OUR STORY

The Finance Factory was founded in 2024 by Andy and Gavin. Between them they have over 15 years working directly in commercial banking and another 15 years in the commercial vehicle industry. They both left their jobs in banking because they knew local businesses deserved a better, friendlier and more personal service.
That experience still shapes how we work today. We understand how lenders think, we know how finance works, and we keep a close eye on the changes that matter to business owners, such as tax rules and capital allowances. We then explain it all in plain English, because nobody should need a dictionary to understand their own finance.

WHAT WE DO

We're a broker, which means we don't lend money ourselves. Instead, we work with a panel of more than 150 specialist lenders and look for the options that fit your situation. Here's what we can help with:
• Asset finance: spreading the cost of the equipment, machinery or vehicles your business needs, rather than paying for it all up front.
• Invoice finance: releasing the cash tied up in unpaid invoices, so you're not left waiting 30, 60 or 90 days to be paid.
• Refinancing: taking a fresh look at existing finance to see whether a different arrangement could work better for your business.
• Commercial loans: funding for growth, investment, working capital and everything in between.
• Vehicle and fleet finance: cars, vans, trucks and coaches, including leasing and funding for fleets of all sizes and all kinds of powertrain.
• Professional loans: tailored finance for professionals, including accountants, care homes, dentists, doctors, funeral directors, opticians, pharmacies, solicitors and vets.

We work with local businesses in construction, manufacturing, transport, recycling, landscaping, healthcare, hospitality, the trades and professional services, among others. Funding typically ranges from £10,000 up to £5 million, depending on the lender and the deal.

• We compare the market for you. With 150+ lenders to approach, we aren't tied to one off-the-shelf product.
Every business is different, so we build each solution around the business in front of us. All finance is subject to status, and we'll always be upfront about what's realistic.
