Event Description:

Somerset Chamber of Commerce are proud to be partnering up with Chamber Members TDA to deliver a Half a day Business Plan Workshop.

This workshop is aimed at small business owners and will cover the basics of Business Planning, plus some tools to help business owners write a suitable plan, which gives a focus for their future development regardless of whether they have an established Business Plan (BP) already.

This will cover the constituent parts of a BP, why they are important, and what sort of content is relevant. Focus will be on setting growth plans for SMEs, so they can work towards their targets. Including:
  • Where are they currently with their business?
  • Where do they want the business to go?
  • How are they going to get there?
We'll look at SMART objectives, and variations on that theme, and address individual queries relating to delegate's own businesses.
Following the workshop attendees should receive a short Business Plan template, a guide to writing a BP, and a greater insight into how to write a living document. Hopefully delegates will also go away not feeling so afraid of the Business Plan, and the process of writing it.
