This event is constructed to help companies based in the Bristol area and registered on the Supply Chain portal gain knowledge and understanding on obtaining access and information on contracts throughout the construction of Hinkley Point C (HPC). The agenda will include; a site update, an understanding of the timeline of the project, how to make the most of your portal registration and preparing yourself and/or your business for working on or at HPC.
Among others, the project will require the following construction civil, mechanical and electrical capabilities:
Construction - Civil works, building trades, material and component supplies, construction services (fuel, plant, waste management).
Mechanical - Steel Fabrication, Machine Shop, Precision components, Non Destructive Testing, HVAC.
Electrical – Electrical LV and HV Installation, Electrical components, Control and Instrumentation.
With many Tier 1 contractors each planning to deliver £100's of million value contracts and each with multiple Tier 2 and 3 supply chain requirements, the opportunity for the West of England region is massive.
