Join us for coffee and bacon baps on Thursday 14th June. If you've not been to the centre, you'll have the opportunity to tour the building and see the facilities as well as network with residents of companies involved with local energy projects.
The Somerset Energy Innovation Centre is a catalyst for collaboration and innovation, providing dynamic space and expert support to the businesses at the heart of the growing low carbon energy supply chain. Working directly with businesses moving into or already working in the low carbon market and seeking to supply into energy projects. Using their expertise, they are able to advise and support companies to develop capability, innovate and form new partnerships.
All the businesses at the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre share the core value of openness to collaboration and innovation. The aim is to create a sustainable economic legacy through the growth of a South West low carbon energy cluster.
Tours of the offices will be facilitated by Sam Evans Head of Hinkley Supply Chain Engagement and Ben Powis, Director of the SEIC.
This event is in partnership with HOST, who operate Hinkley Point C accommodation campuses. Host has been awarded the contract to operate the two campuses that are opening to accommodate construction workers working on the EDF Energy's Hinkley Point C Project.
