The Future of Business 2021, joined by Dr Adam Marshall - British Chambers of Commerce, and Sir Ian Cheshire - Barclays UK Chairman. Join us to review the Quarterly Economic Survey results.
We are delighted to be joined by Sir Ian Cheshire, Barclays UK Chairman. He will be making initial introductions, and opening comments at this event.
Sir Ian was knighted in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to Business, Sustainability and the Environment and is a Chevalier of the Ordre National du Merite of France. His other current appointments include Non-Executive Director of BT Group Plc, and Chair of Prince of Wales Charitable fund.
As Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Adam Marshall has unique access to the workings of Government, regularly briefing cabinet members and lobbying on behalf of business across the UK.
At a critical time for business, just two weeks after the end of the transition period for the UK to leave the EU, Adam will join us to update on the latest developments and to take your questions.
We will be also joined by David Bharier from the British Chambers of Commerce. David is Head of Research for the British Chambers of Commerce. With responsibility for both the QES and the Coronavirus Impact Tracker research, David is an expert at analysing and reporting on business impacts to give both a national and regional picture.
This is a unique opportunity to not only understand the impact of COVID-19 on the national and local economy also to hear the inside line on the Government's attitude to business and the economy in 2021.
