Alison has worked for the mental health charity – Mind in Somerset since December 2019. She started as Corporate Partnerships Co-ordinator, where she worked with businesses across the county to raise much needed funds, as well as raising awareness of the need to support mental health of employees in the workplace. Alison now also works as a Crisis Safe Space worker where she supports people on the ‘front line’ with their mental health crisis. She also works as a corporate trainer delivering courses and workshops within organisations. The most popular of these is the ‘Manager’s guide to mental health in the workplace’ – a one day interactive workshop designed specifically for senior managers.
Welcome to Mind in Somerset!
We are here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. Our core purpose is to provide services and support to anyone affected by mental illness, improving their quality of life and wellbeing.
Through our 24/7 Mindline service, peer support groups, garden, art therapy and much more there is a way in for everyone and a service for everyone. We have an open door and treat everyone as individual, ensuring the right support, at the right time in the right way.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please inform us when booking if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
Bookings for this event will close 4pm, November 16.
