Job opportunity - Pure web development and technical support capability opportunity with Impact Design & Marketing
Impact Design & Marketing of Taunton are a long established agency, providing cross-channel marketing to it's clients.
We are currently running 12 Wordpress websites, 4 of which are Woocommerce stores. There will be additional sites in the future.
We are seeking a web development professional (freelance or agency) who can work with us in undertaking the following:
Scope of work:
1. Monitor and manage 2 Linux VPS servers, managed by Plesk (knowledge of Linux required).
2. Solid knowledge of Wordpress for setting-up security etc. to audit our current sites’ security and make any changes required.
3. Wordpress website monitoring, updating, general maintenance and trouble-shooting (solid knowledge of Wordpress, Woocommerce etc. required).
Time required:
1. Weekly routine checks on the servers and optimising the websites. Envisage approx half a day per week (would grow as we create more sites).
2. Twice monthly or monthly Wordpress core, theme and plugin updates and testing. Envisage approx two days a month (would grow as we create more sites).
3. Prompt availability for emergency trouble-shooting and fixes on both the server and the Wordpress websites.
Structure:
Website design, initial build and content changes will be handled by Impact - we need additional resources in a pure web development and technical support capability.
