About Us

Pendulum Power Consultants specializes in providing comprehensive services related to electrical power systems. Our expertise includes computational analysis, design, and specification for both new and existing distribution and consumer electrical power systems. We have a dedicated team of professionals who are experienced in handling various aspects of power systems.
Once a project is initiated, we assign a project manager who will be responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish. The project manager will ensure that the project progresses smoothly and address any questions or concerns that may arise during the process.
As part of our services, we generate line drawings of the installed system and any required protection. Additionally, if necessary, we can install datalogging equipment to record power quality information of both low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) systems. This information is then compiled into a comprehensive computational study of the site.
We thoroughly assess the suitability of equipment ratings for short circuit protection of cables and connected equipment. We also conduct fuse grading checks and review the settings of protective devices. In cases where arc flash analysis is required for personnel and equipment protection, we provide that as well. We can also provide analysis (G5/4 and G5/5 studies) related to harmonic and flicker disruption in demanding power sites and make recommendations to correct. This analysis includes an assessment of the system's efficiency, reliability, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
For sites that have a high sensitivity to earthing faults, we perform earthing studies to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. This includes analysing the site's earthing system and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate any potential risks.
In cases where new connections are required or existing connections need upgrading, Pendulum Power Consultants takes the initiative to liaise with the Transmission System Operator (TSO) and the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) in the respective areas. We ensure that the supply to the site meets the customer's requirements. If any physical works are necessary, our project managers will coordinate and manage the process efficiently.
