About Us

Western Fuel are an independent fuel distributor based in Bridgwater and Taunton.
Started in 1985 by our Managing Director the company has progressed from one lorry to a fleet of fifteen lorries spread across our two depots.
We have storage capability of in excess of two million litres which is more than sufficient to supply the requirements of the 36,000 customers we currently have on our database.
We are a local company, employing local staff who between them have over 150 years of experience within the oil industry.
Our company has been built upon providing a delivery service that is second to none. We understand the needs of our customers and aim to exceed their expectations. This can be by providing an emergency delivery for a household that have run out of oil through to ensuring that our local farmers have the fuel in their tanks ready to harvest their crops.
The biggest share of our business is the domestic market. We offer a variety of services which include a regular top up service , spread payments and fully qualified service engineers.
Western Fuel also have a good understanding of the local agricultural market. We appreciate that without fuel in their tanks the farmers can not operate so we do everything within our control to ensure that this doesn’t happen! We also supply a large range of lubricants to keep their machines running smoothly.
