Our trainer has over seven years of experience working with schools, NHS and private sectors designing and developing engaging programmes that deliver unique insight into managing critical mental health challenges. Chronic stress often leads to mental health issues if effective interventions are not accessed.
None of us needs to accept chronic stress as a part of our everyday lives. There are easy-to-learn, effective techniques informed by neurobiological research that can support the body to come back to balance, helping us to perform at our best.
Mental Health First Aid (Adult and Youth)
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is the only evidenced-based course of its kind. Early intervention and prevention significantly improve recovery rates and health outcomes. MHFA England's training package was developed in 2000 and honed over two decades using proven techniques tested by clinical practitioners and people with lived experience of mental health conditions.
Our two-day courses increase awareness and confidence, enabling conversations about mental health topics such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide and more that guide people to seek effective help sooner. Although there is still a demand to respond to more complex situations that impact our mental health with interventions such as counselling, MHFA training is proven to help prevent a crisis and sustain wellbeing.
Mental Health First Aid courses have reached a global audience, training over 3 million people in 25 countries. MHFAiders® are vital to ensuring wellbeing is maintained within organisations and, so far, have reached more than 400,000 persons in England. Using proven techniques, the courses we deliver are developed by expert clinical practitioners so that you can book with confidence.
Everybody's mental health changes over time, just like our physical health. Unlike our physical health, however, it takes an average of 10 years from the onset of symptoms to receiving treatment. Imagine living ten years with a sprained ankle and never receiving treatment! It would profoundly impact our daily lives and will likely worsen over time without intervention. Mental health is no different.
At WellBe T&C, we know how life's demands, past experiences and concerns about the future can develop into more complex experiences than just chronic stress. That's why we offer a personalised service with a highly trained psychotherapeutic counsellor who will help explore your experiences and use proven strategies to bring you back to the life you want to live.
